Manchester United are interested in Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala, according to Fichajes (h/t Manchester Evening News). The Red Devils are one of the several teams eyeing the 19-year-old.
The Old Trafford side have joined the race for the Germany international’s signature. However, it seems unlikely that the Bavarians will let him go, even though the Manchester-based club are keen.
Musiala is currently under contract with the Bundesliga giants till the summer of 2026. His performances this season have caught the eyes of many people.

The 19-year-old has made 22 appearances for Bayern in all competitions this season. He has been able to find the back of the net 12 times and has set up 10 more goals.
Musiala was part of Hansi Flick’s 26-man travelling squad to the 2022 World Cup. The 19-year-old was impressive throughout the group stage campaign. However, the 2014 World Cup champions failed to qualify for the knockout rounds.
The midfielder made his way through the youth ranks at Premier League outfit Chelsea. However, he opted to move to the Bundesliga giants in the summer of 2019 and played for their youth team initially.
Musiala broke into the Bavarians’ first team in the 2020/21 campaign. Since then, the youngster has developed into a quality player and has now become an essential player for Julian Nagelsmann.
The 19-year-old mostly plays in the number 10 position at Bayern. However, Bruno Fernandes occupies that role at United. The Portugal international has been pivotal for the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag.
However, Musiala is a versatile player who has been deployed in the number eight position and on the wings during his time with the Bundesliga giants. The 19-year-old has loads of potential, but it remains to be seen whether he makes a move to the Old Trafford side some years down the line.
